For more than 28 years, Denise has dedicated her life to serving students, educators, and school communities. Her career began after her service in the United States Army, where she transitioned into education as an instructional assistant and later earned her undergraduate degree in post-secondary education. Denise taught for many years before stepping into school leadership, serving as a school administrator and then as an associate and assistant superintendent. She now serves schools nationwide as the Chief Operating Officer for ADAC, Inc. (www.theadac.com), supporting thousands of educators and leaders through her commitment to mission-driven excellence.
Denise’s graduate work in curriculum and instruction included thesis research focused on phonics and the foundational skills of early reading. In 2023, she earned her doctorate in curriculum and instruction, where her dissertation examined teacher retention and the influence of school climate on a teacher’s decision to stay or leave the classroom. Denise believes that teaching and serving as an educational leader is a vocation rooted in intentional discernment. Both roles carry profound responsibility and have the power to shape the lives of the students and teachers entrusted to our care. Words and actions matter.
Denise believes her most important role and passion is in serving her beautiful family. She has been married to Michael for the last few decades, and both her children are wrapping up their college experience. She strives to seize every moment on this journey of life!
Carpe Diem…
